ReyCon is excited about our project in Jamaica Plain! With Rode Architects heading up the design, we looked forward to another project working for Berkeley Investments. The tasks entailed the demolition of three existing buildings to make way for the new construction of 76 high end apartments with retail development on the ground level. This property features a rooftop lounge with a beautiful view of the city, as well as a private courtyard to relax and enjoy a night by the fire pit. The residential units offer modern finishes such as stainless steel appliances and fixtures, luxury laminate flooring, and washer/dryers in each apartment.
3200 Washington Street is pursuing Gold certification and is currently registered with the LEED for Homes program. The building includes low-flow plumbing fixtures, high-efficiency VRF heating and cooling systems, upgrades window U-factors, high-efficiency LED lighting, green roofs, landscaping that doesn’t require irrigation and 2 EV charging spaces. These energy and water saving amenities are the reasons for the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification that the building holds.
